About the lesson

My classes are for ages 5-12. This class will teach children the basics of music that they will need to know before playing any instrument or singing. First we will begin the class with attendance (if it's a group), we will then sing a couple of kid friendly songs teaching them different genres of music exploring the options from pop to country to oldies. We will then have our daily lesson teaching. After the lesson we will play a game that is music based and then send them home with a little worksheet to work on. My classes are in 2 different groups 5-8 and 9-12.

About Mackenzie

For 13 years I have been singing and performing and for 12 years I have done multiple types of dances. I have been in band class for 2 years and have lead young children in worship at my church. Music is my passion and would love to share the love of music that children will be able to grow and love. I have also done 3 years of guitar and 1 year of digital music composition.
