About Logan
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music and have been teaching guitar for over seven years. My teaching style is patient, personalized, and designed to help every student discover what excites them most about music while building a reliable technical foundation. I’ve worked with students of all ages—children, teens, and adults—whether they’re playing for personal enjoyment, preparing for performances, or writing original songs. I tailor lessons to fit each person’s level, interests, and learning style to make sure progress is steady and satisfying. Outside of teaching, I perform regularly and compose both solo and collaborative music. I stay updated on modern techniques and trends so my lessons remain relevant and engaging. I’m passionate about helping students find their voice through the guitar and grow into confident musicians.

Each lesson starts by meeting you where you are—whether you're picking up the guitar for the first time or looking to refine your basics. We focus on posture, tuning, simple chord transitions, and beginner-friendly songs to make your introduction to the instrument comfortable and rewarding.
As you progress, we dive into rhythm training, strumming variations, scales, and improvisation. You’ll learn how to apply theory through actual music—navigating chord progressions, understanding song structure, and building clean, consistent playing habits. Every concept is taught in a musical, hands-on way.
Advanced lessons explore genre-specific techniques such as fingerpicking, soloing, riff creation, and performance skills. You’ll also have the chance to create original material or refine your own sound. Each session is adjusted to your personal pace and musical goals, keeping things productive and enjoyable.
