About Jaime
I am a first year linguistics major and computer science minor at the University of Alberta. I was born in Madrid and lived there for ten years. I have extensive volunteer experience in the tutoring and homework help programs that the Calgary Public Library offers.

I can adapt very well to the needs of the student and organize the lessons accordingly. I structure the lessons in a way that allows the student to build up progressively on previous knowledge in the most natural way possible. I teach vocabulary at all levels, and I also offer practice in reading, listening, writing and speaking. If you are only interested in one component such as developing your conversation skills, I will focus the entire lesson on it, making sure to insert new vocabulary and new expressions into the conversation. The same thing applies for any other component of language. I also offer online Skype sessions if that is more convenient for the student.
