About Iryna

BIO: I am a Ukrainian-born Canadian artist with BFA majoring in Painting and Drawing from Concordia University currently living and working in Montreal. While oil is my primary painting medium, my body of work includes watercolor and ink drawings and fiber art. I participated in numerous exhibitions in Canada. About the lesson

Making art is one of the biggest joys in my life and I want to share this joy with you. Everyone can have fun with painting no matter how old you are or what is your level of experience. While providing structured lessons, I will offer a personalized experience according to your needs. During the first lesson, we will discuss your goals and what materials you want to work with. We can focus on the theory, technique, specific subject, preparation of a portfolio for the university or CEGEP application, or just on relaxation and escape from routine. I offer classes in my studio, but open to do it over internet if it suits your needs. Please note that (despite of SuperProf's listing) I offer only first 30 minutes of free instructions. If you need to book an oil painting session - the minimum time is 1.5 hours. The water-based media and drawing class can be 1 hour long. If you want just to have an introductory conversation to discuss your goals and individual class structure, we can book 30 minutes online. During the in-studio class I offer all the basic materials.

I provide all the basic materials. I only travel within Montreal Public Transportation System. Please note that for oil painting lessons the minimum class duration is 1.5 hours.
