I am a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Contemporary Music, Voice Major. I specialize in preparing students for auditions, competitions, and stage performances. My lessons cover a range of styles including Classical, Broadway, Pop-Rock, and Music Theater. I focus on building strong diction, expanding vocal range, and developing agility. I guide students in repertoire selection and dramatic interpretation to bring each song to life. My experience includes working with school students, drama majors, and adult singers returning to music. I tailor lessons to each student’s goals, ensuring they grow technically and artistically. My teaching approach is designed to help both soloists in training and adult beginners develop their vocal skills with confidence. I focus on pitch perfection, expressiveness, and building stage presence. Each lesson is personalized to match the student’s experience and goals. Exploring different song styles—from pop and jazz to classical and contemporary—helps students expand their range and musicality.
I guide students in understanding phrasing, dynamics, and emotional connection to songs. Modern technology is an important part of my method. We use recording software to review performances, ear training apps to improve pitch recognition, and pitch correction tools to track progress accurately. These tools make practice more focused and measurable.
For adult beginners, lessons start with foundational techniques, gradually introducing more complex exercises as confidence grows. Soloists in training receive advanced exercises, performance strategies, and interpretation guidance to shine on stage. I emphasize consistent practice, self-reflection, and experimentation to help each student find their unique voice.
By combining technique, creativity, and technology, my approach ensures steady improvement. Students leave lessons feeling confident, expressive, and motivated. Every session is about making singing both fun and transformative.
