About Kyler
In my saxophone lessons, I prioritize building a solid foundation of technique while also fostering creativity and musical expression. I begin by focusing on breath control, embouchure, and tone production, ensuring that students have the necessary skills to produce a beautiful sound. As students progress, I introduce more advanced techniques such as articulation, phrasing, and rhythm, which allow them to become more expressive and versatile musicians. One of the key aspects of my teaching is the emphasis on improvisation, which encourages students to explore their own musical ideas and develop their personal style. Whether you're a beginner working on the basics or an advanced player looking to improve your improvisation skills, I offer a range of lessons designed to help you grow.
I work on building breath control, tone production, and technique while encouraging students to experiment with different musical genres. My lessons include rhythm exercises, ear training, and improvisational practice, giving students the tools they need to be versatile musicians.
