Hi! I’m a piano tutor with over 2 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano Performance. I specialize in helping pianists become strong collaborators—whether you're accompanying a vocalist, instrumentalist, or an entire choir. My training and practical experience have shaped the way I teach skills like reading lead sheets, transposing on the fly, and developing rhythmic sensitivity. I also focus on stylistic flexibility, helping students confidently move between genres like jazz, pop, classical, gospel, and more. Whether you're just starting or have years of experience, I adapt my lessons to support your individual musical path. I’ve worked with school students, adult learners, and professional accompanists, always making sure their learning goals are front and center. My approach is very student-centered. For students developing original compositions or using piano as personal therapy, I offer a thoughtful and supportive space. I provide tailored exercises that sharpen technique while fostering freedom of expression.
