About Benjamin
Guitar is one of the most personal and expressive instruments I’ve encountered, and that’s why I’ve spent 7 years refining a teaching approach that empowers students to make it their own. I see each student as a collaborator, not just a learner. Together, we create a journey that includes technique, musical fluency, and artistic exploration. I emphasize the fundamentals—clean fretting, rhythm accuracy, chord transitions—but always in service of musical expression. We’ll use real songs and genres you love to apply theory, develop your ear, and build your repertoire. My lessons often incorporate composition, arranging, and improvisation, because I want you not only to play music, but to shape it. For students interested in electric guitar, I teach how to create dynamic tones with pedals and amp modeling, and for acoustic players, we focus on fingerstyle, strumming textures, and open tunings. Creativity is central in our work. I’ve helped students turn chord exercises into original songs, rework cover tunes in entirely new styles, and even compose ambient guitar loops for film projects. Each student gets a clear, goal-oriented practice plan that evolves as they grow. I check in regularly on progress, frustrations, and breakthroughs, so that your learning experience stays responsive and motivating. In the end, my mission is simple: to help you become the guitarist you dream of being—not by following a preset path, but by building one together.

I use visual tools, backing tracks, and rhythmic exercises to keep lessons dynamic and effective.
Learning guitar should be a rewarding creative outlet, not a source of frustration. To keep motivation alive, I share stories from both famous guitarists and students who have overcome obstacles. Alongside technical skills, I teach tone shaping, performance preparation, efficient practice, music reading, and improvisation.
