About Chloe
I am a violin tutor with over 5 years of experience and a DMA in Violin Performance. My approach is holistic and therapeutic, focusing on self-expression and emotional release. Improvisation, journaling, and soundscape creation are tools I use to support mindfulness and personal growth. Lessons are designed to reduce stress and foster well-being. I work with neurodiverse learners, trauma survivors, and adults seeking healing through music. Each session provides a safe, supportive space for exploration. Students learn to translate emotions into sound and musical storytelling. I encourage creativity, intuition, and personal expression alongside technical development. I focus on teaching violin sight-reading with clarity, confidence, and speed. Lessons cover ledger lines, multi-part scores, and complex rhythms. My systematic approach strengthens visual-to-finger coordination for immediate execution. Students build the ability to anticipate musical patterns and read fluently. The Musical Theatre Enthusiast and The Worship Singer receive tailored exercises for rapid reading development. Each session combines technical drills with repertoire practice for practical application. Lessons emphasise accuracy, rhythm, and expressive interpretation. Students gain confidence in performing new pieces instantly. Sight-reading becomes an intuitive, enjoyable skill through structured practice. I encourage consistent exercises to reinforce learning. Lessons are interactive, progress-focused, and motivating. My goal is to help learners play unfamiliar music confidently and fluently. Each student leaves prepared to read any score with skill and ease.
