About Lily

As a guitarist and music educator, my journey began with a deep passion for music that has shaped both my personal and professional life. With over four years of teaching experience, I have had the privilege of guiding numerous students through their musical development. My approach is rooted in a commitment to nurturing each student's unique musical voice and fostering a love for the instrument.

My own musical journey started at a young age, sparked by the discovery of the guitar's versatility and expressive power. Throughout the years, I have immersed myself in various genres, from classic rock to jazz and classical music, honing my skills through dedicated practice and performance. This diverse background allows me to offer students a broad perspective on music, encouraging exploration and creativity in their learning.

Teaching, for me, is not just about imparting technical skills but also about instilling confidence and a sense of accomplishment in my students. I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel empowered to take risks and grow as musicians. About the lesson

As an experienced guitarist with four years of teaching under my belt, I offer comprehensive lessons designed to cater to students of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. My lessons cover a variety of genres, including rock, jazz, blues, classical, and pop, ensuring that each student can explore and excel in the musical style that resonates with them. With a personalized approach, I tailor each lesson to meet the individual needs and goals of my students, ensuring a productive and enjoyable learning experience.

Each lesson begins with a warm-up session to prepare the hands and mind for playing. This is followed by a mix of technical exercises and repertoire practice. Technical exercises are essential for building finger strength, dexterity, and accuracy, while repertoire practice allows students to apply these techniques to actual pieces of music. I believe in the importance of a balanced approach, combining technical proficiency with musicality to help students become well-rounded musicians.

In addition to technique and repertoire, I also focus on music theory and ear training. Understanding the theoretical aspects of music helps students make sense of what they are playing and provides a foundation for improvisation and composition.
