About Allen

I fell in love with the game of chess at the age of 7 and I have been playing ever since. I had several incredible teachers help me evolve and grow as a chess player and as a person. As a result of the teachings I received and the passion I had, I was able to win several chess tournaments and finish in the top rankings of my age category in a provincial chess tournament. I was able to study at Jean-de-Brébeuf (the top high school in Quebec). Now I'm a student at the University of Montreal in Computer Science & Math. I teach chess to several students and I play chess as a hobby.

About the lesson

Hello future students!

By studying with me you will learn all the hidden techniques and rules of chess. You will be able to develop your critical thinking, patience, problem solving and memory.

In my lessons, we will go through the fundamental rules of the game, the common tricks and traps in chess and we will analyze the games that you've played as well as some historical games.

Perfect! My kid has attended 3 - 4 chess classes, and I already see a rapid progress in his skill. For each class, My son shows great interests joining in with Allen, and most importantly, he keeps the enthusiasm after the class and practices online everyday. This is exceptionally valuable for a little child who is starting to learn chess.
