About Lara
I’ve been teaching Physics for more than eight years and hold a BSc in Physics with Philosophy. My teaching focuses on middle school students learning the fundamentals of forces and motion. I use simple, hands-on experiments like building paper parachutes or testing ramps to show ideas in action. These activities help students connect abstract concepts to real experiences. I also bring in examples from everyday life, such as sports, cars, and rollercoasters. By connecting physics to what they already know, students feel more engaged. I know that physics often feels challenging at first, but with support, it becomes enjoyable. I break concepts down into easy-to-follow steps and provide lots of opportunities for practice. Problem-solving activities are used regularly to keep students active in their learning. I encourage curiosity by welcoming questions and encouraging exploration. Over the years, I’ve seen many students overcome difficulties and start to love science. I believe physics can be exciting when taught in the right way. My mission is to make it fun, clear, and rewarding for every student.

My approach to teaching physics is centered on real-world engineering problems. I believe students learn best when they can apply theory to practice. That’s why I include examples from materials science, exploring how stress, strain, and fatigue affect materials. I also dive into fluid dynamics by analyzing flows in pipes, turbines, and natural systems. Statics and dynamics are introduced through bridges, cranes, and structural systems. These case studies give learners a sense of purpose in their studies. My sessions are relaxed and encouraging, with space for trial and error. I make sure students understand concepts step by step before moving to more complex problems. I use problem-solving exercises to strengthen both theory and application. For aspiring teachers or computational physicists, I provide strategies for clear explanation and effective modeling. Over time, students see that physics is not just abstract but deeply practical. My role is to support them in applying knowledge with confidence. Let’s make physics relevant to your engineering career.
