About Maria

Hi! I’m Maria, a native French speaker and current Kinesiology student at Concordia University. I’ve spoken French my whole life and use it daily to communicate with my friends and family. I also attended both elementary and high school in bilingual programs, where I consistently earned excellent grades in French classes. My goal as a tutor is to make learning French feel approachable, enjoyable, and tailored to your pace. Whether you're working on schoolwork, preparing for an exam, or just trying to feel more confident speaking, I’m here to help! I’m patient, understanding, and I love helping others build their skills while enjoying the learning process.

Hi! My name is Maria and I'm a native French speaker currently studying Kinesiology at Concordia University. I attended bilingual schools all throughout elementary and high school, and French has always been one of my strongest subjects — I consistently earned top grades and continue to use it every day to communicate with friends and family. Whether you're a beginner, want to improve your writing, prep for exams, or just feel more confident in conversation, I’m here to help! I offer patient, personalized tutoring sessions that adapt to your level and goals — whether you're in high school, CEGEP, or university. I can help with: Homework & assignments Reading comprehension & grammar Writing improvement (essays, emails, etc.) Conversation practice Exam prep (Elementary, high school, CEGEP, university) Sessions are available online or in-person (depending on location).
