My teaching approach is centered on helping each student grow with confidence, creativity, and solid musical skills. I believe piano is more than just technique—it’s about expression, understanding, and personal connection to music. Lessons are always tailored to the student’s goals, whether they want to play for fun, prepare for exams, or develop as a performer. I cover a full range of subjects including music theory, aural training, sight-reading, and piano history to give students a strong foundation. For those aiming for certifications like ABRSM, Rockschool, or A-Level Music, I provide clear, structured support to help them succeed with ease. I also focus on building creative skills such as improvisation, songwriting, and composition. Students who enjoy jazz or pop styles will find space to explore rhythm, harmony, and groove with confidence. We work on chord progressions, voicings, and expressive phrasing to bring their music to life. I use real-world examples and songs they love to keep learning fun and meaningful. Each lesson is a mix of structure and inspiration. Whether you're just starting out or refining your skills, I’ll guide you at your own pace. My goal is to make piano a joyful and lasting part of your life.

About the lesson

I'm a dedicated piano tutor with 9 years of experience, and I believe music is a lifelong journey that evolves with every note you play. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Piano Studies, and my work as a performer and composer has deeply shaped my teaching style. Whether I'm on stage or at the keys writing original music, I’m always exploring new ways to express emotion and technique.

I’ve had the joy of working with students from all walks of life—complete beginners discovering their first melodies, to advanced musicians refining their artistry. My approach is tailored to each individual’s goals, strengths, and pace. I emphasize strong foundations in technique, theory, and ear training, but I also encourage creative exploration through improvisation and composition.

Performance confidence, musical storytelling, and artistic expression are key elements of my lessons. I believe in nurturing both skill and soul. For me, the piano isn’t just an instrument—it’s a lifelong companion that teaches patience, joy, and growth.
