About Ursula
With 3 years of experience and a BA in Music Theory focused on guitar, I teach more than just how to play—I teach how to sound professional. My lessons integrate music production fundamentals, home recording techniques, and the core principles of audio engineering. Students learn to shape their tone, experiment with effects pedals, and apply mixing techniques that enhance clarity. Microphone placement becomes a creative tool, not just a technical detail. I believe a great guitarist should also understand how to capture their music authentically. I’ve worked with students at various levels: early intermediates, advanced intermediates, and even pro-level session players. Each one has grown not just as a guitarist, but as a complete musician. My teaching is adaptable, practical, and designed to meet your goals. Whether you want to build stage confidence or craft high-quality demos, I’ll help you get there. Your artistry deserves to be heard at its best. Let’s elevate your playing and recording to the next level.

I believe the best musicianship grows when players learn to perform with others. That’s why my teaching approach emphasizes ensemble playing, band interaction, and performance etiquette. Students learn how to read a group, balance their sound, and contribute effectively. I focus on helping guitarists master stage presence so they can play with energy and confidence. Fingerstyle players benefit from learning how to adapt their style into group arrangements. For those starting later, I offer encouragement and clear methods to make progress in live settings. Lessons go beyond technique into the mindset of performance. We cover everything from rehearsal discipline to stage movement. I simulate real-world band practice in our sessions, so students know what to expect when it counts. Music is about communication, and my goal is to help you thrive in that exchange. With guidance, you’ll become not just a guitarist, but a performer ready for the stage.
