About Anvika

I am a violin tutor with over 2 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance, specialising in Contemporary Repertoire. My training is rooted in classical technique, which I use to help students develop strong foundations while exploring modern expression on the violin. I focus on key skills such as bowing technique, vibrato, phrasing, and musical interpretation across Classical, Contemporary, and Cinematic styles. I have extensive experience preparing students for ABRSM and Trinity exams, ensuring they build both technical proficiency and musicality. Additionally, I provide orchestral coaching, guiding students through orchestral excerpt preparation and ensemble playing skills. My lessons emphasise not only individual technique but also the importance of blending and listening within a group. Whether you’re working on solo repertoire or preparing for ensemble performances, I aim to nurture your confidence and musical voice. I believe in combining tradition with creativity to make your violin journey rich and fulfilling.
