About Aria

Hi! I'm a singing tutor with over 10 years of experience and an Advanced Diploma in Singing. I specialize in working with young children and early teens, making lessons fun, creative, and full of imagination. I use games, movement, and storytelling to teach pitch, rhythm, and basic vocal technique in ways that feel natural and exciting. My lessons often include folk songs, Disney favorites, and musical theater pieces that kids love and connect with. These songs help build strong fundamentals while keeping students engaged and inspired. I tailor every session to the child’s age, voice, and personality, ensuring they grow at their own pace. We focus on confidence-building, active listening, and learning how to express feelings through music. Whether it’s singing like a princess, a superhero, or simply themselves, I help each student find their unique voice. Singing should be joyful, not stressful. I create a warm, encouraging space where kids can explore, take risks, and truly enjoy making music. With the right guidance, learning to sing can be magical, safe, and full of laughter.

About the lesson

My voice lessons blend structured technique with expressive performance, tailored for both The Suzuki Student and The Orchestra Member. For The Suzuki Student, I use a step-by-step approach that builds vocal skills through repetition, listening, and emotional connection. Breathing exercises are introduced early to support tone control and vocal confidence.

Pitch training is reinforced using ear training apps like *Tenuto* and *Toned Ear*, helping students match notes accurately and consistently. I also use simple vocal tracking tools to monitor progress in tone, range, and breath support.

For The Orchestra Member, we focus on blending voice with instruments, developing musical sensitivity and control. Lessons include advanced breathing techniques, vocal stamina work, and phrasing to match ensemble dynamics.

Vocal health is emphasized for both, with regular warm-ups, hydration tips, and proper posture practices. Performance skills are taught through mock recitals, ensemble practice, and expressive storytelling. Each student learns not only how to sing, but how to communicate through music with heart and technique.
