About Tina

I am a passionate violin tutor with over 8 years of teaching experience and a Diploma in Classical Violin. While my foundation is classical, I love exploring crossover styles that push the violin beyond tradition. From Jazz and Rock to Hip-Hop Strings and World Music, I enjoy showing students how versatile the instrument can be. In my lessons, I use improvisation as a key tool to unlock creativity and confidence. I also introduce looping pedals and creative performance techniques to help students build unique soundscapes. Together, we explore how to adapt popular songs for the violin, blending familiar melodies with fresh textures.
