About Hannah

My name is Hannah, and I am an English and Italian teacher. I am half Italian and half English, and grew up between Italy and Ireland. I am an Italian and English native speaker, and being bilingual in both allows me to bridge any communication gaps, making sure you feel comfortable and confident in your learning journey. With five years of teaching experience, I've taught students of all ages and proficiency levels. This has equipped me with the skills needed to tailor my lessons to meet the needs of each individual learner. My academic background in International Modern Languages in Italian, Spanish and French at University College Dublin has enriched my teaching approach and has given me a broader perspective on language acquisition, allowing me to draw from a wide range of linguistic tools and methodologies. This knowledge enables me to provide a well-rounded and comprehensive language learning experience to my students.

About the lesson

Learning a language should be an enjoyable and interactive experience. That is why I love to teach through conversation, games, and interactive activities. My classes are designed to be engaging and fun, where you'll actively participate and make progress. My teaching approach is highly customized to your specific goals and interests. Whether you are learning English for fun, preparing for a trip to an English-speaking country, seeking to improve your speaking skills, or studying for school or University exams, I will tailor my lessons around your needs. I specialize in preparing students for Cambridge exams like KET, PET, First Certificate, CAE and CPE, as well as University level exams. We will work on all aspects of the English language, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I also have experience with Italian/English translation. I will share effective strategies and exercises to help you improve your translating skills, whether you're working with English to Italian or vice versa.
