My teaching methods are organized, flexible and structured around your specific needs. We will have fun around correcting the funny mistakes you can make. By conversing on your interests subjects, you will build vocabulary, fluency and confidence. You will increase your comprehension and we can work on correcting your pronunciation.
My teaching methods are based on discovery learning with the use of hands on materials for easier understanding. When children find out things on their own instead of you telling them they’ll remember it. I’m very flexible, creative and patient.
I have one year experience being teacher in countries such as Spain, Vietnam and Canada.
In a speaking lesson, the students role play conversations from a text book. Sometimes we play a homemade board game that includes questions and vocabulary that the students have been taught. For a reading lesson, the students read a book chapter and answer questions about the book. For a listening lesson, the students listen to an audio recording and answer questions about what they heard.
My teaching methods are aimed towards sparking interest within the student for the subject matter, which includes relating it to their own experiences, and making it as fun and enjoyable as possible. Our job as teachers is to spark and foster curiosity in the students, and to make the education process feel meaningful for students.
People learn best when they are understood and taught at their own level. My approach is centred around first getting to know my students on a personal level - their interests, strengths, weaknesses - all of it. The better I know how you think, the better I am able to mold a lesson into it's most digestible shape. I love people, and I love english.
My teaching style is relaxed with the individual needs of the student in mind. I adapt my classes to the learning style of the student in order to insure student success. A typical class with me would include lots of student input and interaction.
I engage my students with popular and controversial topics for critical thinking. I believe smaller classes are more conducive to inclusivity and learning.
Typically, we start with a conversation and see where it takes us! If there are any particular topics you'd like to discuss, I can be prepared with a more structured lesson plan, but am happy to follow direction from my learner in terms of subject/content/etc.
My teachings methods are flexible. I like to get to know my "student"(s) their likes and dislikes. From there I would want to gear my teaching in such a manner as to best help them understand the subject they are learning.
I like to focus on teaching my students casual and conversational English that they would use in their everyday life. I teach reading, writing, speaking, listening and grammar as well. I use a wide variety of engaging games, worksheets and activities to make sure that you are given the confidence needed to grow as an English learner.
My classes can be useful for middle and high schools, university students Special classes for primary and lower grades.
My methods are aligned to make sure that you understand and grasp the concepts as easily and as quickly as possible. Rather than having one particular way of teaching I will teach you in the way you understand the best. The objective of my teaching is only to serve the student learning and I work together with the student and parents to get the best out of the students.
Most English courses do not deepen the knowledge of the language, much less prepare students for an international proficiency test. Expressing yourself effectively and fluently is important but understanding how the test works will ensure you a high band at IELTS.
My classes are based on real-life situations; going to the bank, eating at a restaurant, asking for directions, going on a date... you name it. I believe in tailoring my program for your specific needs and remain open to creating opportunities to further your learning based on your own desires.
My teaching methods includes but not limited to student centered lessons, cooperative learning as well as discovery learning. It is also inclusive of differentiation in lesson planning. I cater to the needs of all my students, I ensure that the lesson is centered around them at all times.
From previous teaching experience I know that every child learns differently. I will accustom my lessons to my student’s needs and current writing levels. Each lesson I will give my students writing prompts to inspire them to really go outside of their comfort zone as writers.
I base my lessons on each individual student's capabilities and natural strengths at the start, but equally work towards building upon and strengthening skills that may be lacking. By beginning my teaching journey with a focus on the student's strong areas, I aim to encourage confidence and a comfortable space for learning and growth.
My teaching methods include presentations, discussion and feedback, demonstration, and lecture. A typical class begins with Q & A or video followed by lecture or demonstration, group activity, and feedback. Level: high school and college students. The ability to guide my students in maximizing their potential makes me a special teacher.
Teaching, in my opinion, is about mentorship. It involves listening, questioning, and a continuous re-assessment of its methods. I encourage my students to ask questions about the content as well as the objective of the lessons. I develop unique methods based on the student's needs, as there is not a "one size fits all" approach to teaching.
I base my classes on the needs of my students. Every student is different, and I always take the time to learn about my students' goals and work with them to reach their goals. I care about the success of my students and make myself available to help as much as possible.
I am easy to get a long with, and most people find me comfortable to be around. A typical class who be either at the Wetaskiwin Public Library or somewhere, were it is suitable for you. My teaching would be able to show the different ways to make learning fun.
I engage the students with interesting content such a news story and or powerful story that they are also wanting to learn about and then guide them through written questions and answers about the content discussed. I am a very patient tutor that speaks slowly and clearly making sure they understand and succeed every step through the lesson plan.
When tutoring IELTS, I follow the structure laid out by the Canadian College of Educators and then make modifications to the lesson plans according to individual test-taker needs. For basic ESL, I'll test you through a conversation (text, voice or both, depending on the student) to see where you are in your training and where to go from there.
Tailored classes to your needs. Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening. Easily identifies areas needed for improvement and creates individual classes to focus on weaker skills by using the students strengths. First class is for assessment. After that, classes follow student's progress and are prepared based on student's interests and specific goals.
I will access where you are in English. I want to hear you talk and write and I can confirm where are your weak points so you can improve as quickly as possible. During you're learning we will speak English and write English. I can even provide you homework to learn faster. Our first lesson together will be to test your English.
As a Canadian employer, I fully comprehend what other employers look for in qualified candidates for hire (especially in the science and business sectors). I can help you improve written and oral English skills in order to prepare for resume writing, Interview skills and on-the-job verbal and writing improvements.
My approach to teaching includes creating a positive and safe learning environment for my students, so that learning is fun and easy. I enjoy leading classes that are interactive, using many different learning tools to accompany my learning plan. I have taught learners of all ages and will modify my lesson plan to ensure it is age appropriate, challenging and rewarding for my learners.
My teaching methods are based on constructivist principles where the learner is placed at the centre and guides instructional strategies. I employ research based approached and have many tools to help the learner engage with the material in a meaningful way.
I find that the most effective approach to teaching English is one that is student- based. In other words, I identify how each student learns and then I can set up a program which suits the students' needs and focusses on oral learners and learners who need visual cues. I emphasize the necessity of grammar in mastering the English language. I also teach listening skills and comprehension exercises.
