Typically, we start with a conversation and see where it takes us! If there are any particular topics you'd like to discuss, I can be prepared with a more structured lesson plan, but am happy to follow direction from my learner in terms of subject/content/etc.
My classes are based on real-life situations; going to the bank, eating at a restaurant, asking for directions, going on a date... you name it. I believe in tailoring my program for your specific needs and remain open to creating opportunities to further your learning based on your own desires.
When tutoring students in English, I start with learning what the students want to learn or what level of proficiency they hope to achieve. Depending on the student's needs, I typically give 1-1.5 hour long lessons that consist of multiple activities and, if asked, I assign homework to be completed before the next lesson.
