About Ziyan (Zi)
Ms. Violet Lim, graduated from University of East Anglia and University of South Australia with Master in Social Work and Master of Science in Child and Family Psychology.
As a tutor with about 8 years experiences in dance, choreography and teaching, she strives to nurture interest, creativity and make dance learning fun and creative for students. She will guide and encourage the students to read the song lyrics and express themselves creatively through dance. Ready-to-print song lyrics handouts will be prepared for students.
Besides working as a dance tutor, she is actively contributing to the industry of children education by designing, creating and producing dance along videos for children and adults.

Online music and hand dance classes are designed for children aged from 5 to 12 years old. Private (1 to 1) or group class (2 to 4 students) can be arranged. Fun and engaging learning via music and movement videos, role-play, etc. Besides developing physical movement and dance skills, these classes serve as supporting and reinforcement learning activity to improve language skills of children. Classes are inclusive and open to students with special needs, learning and physical disabilities.
Monthly, there will be either 4 classes (1 class/week) or 2 classes (1 class/fortnight) depending on your availability. Each class is about 40 minutes, focuses on music and hand dance, in which students will learn to choreograph and dance to either Chinese or English songs. These are all discussable on which song and dance that you want to learn in our free first trial lesson (30 mins). As for the learning outcome, a class dance video will be recorded and created after the student learnt to choreograph a song and dance successfully. This dance video will then be reviewed and feedback will be provided to the student. A music and hand dance certificate will be provided after the student has completed a year of the classes.
Replacement classes can be arranged if the teacher or student is not feeling well or having any emergency issues. If the student or teacher is going away for holiday, class can be cancelled and refund can be made.
