About Emily
I have worked as a teaching assistant for 2 years, now I am training to teach. I tailor every lesson to ensure that there are many different activities and that the sessions are engaging and as fun as possible. Also, I make sure that it is a relaxed and positive environment and that it is student-led with what is covered during the sessions.
I can also be contacted outside of the tutoring sessions so if you need any help or advice with additional work I am happy to provide support.

I will have a range of activites and resources planned for each lesson, as well as exam and work booklets for you to practice outside of the sessions. I use a variety of modelling, going through worked examples and exam technique, independent work and discussions during the lessons.
The lessons will last 45 minutes to an hour, I have experience of planning and delivering tutoring sessions for Yr 11s for Maths GCSE either one to one or small groups for 2 years when I was a teaching assistant. Finally, my lessons can be for KS3, KS4 (for Maths) then 6th form for psychology.
