About the lesson
My style of teaching is to have a fun and simplistic approach. I tend to explain in layman's terms rather than being too technical in my math vocabulary. My focus is making the student understand concepts rather than having the student memorize a lot of formulas. I provide a detailed step by step approach in solving problems while also explaining why such steps are taken.
My teaching methods are as follows. I teach students how to solve the easy problems first and then gradually increasing the difficulty as we progress. I do not believe in shortcuts. The best way to be good in solving any kind of math problem is to get a lot of experience in solving them. That is why after every lesson I always give the students some practice worksheets to reinforce what I have just taught them. Should the student find any difficulty, I always make myself easy to reach and so I can offer any kind of help the student needs.
I teach math (algebra, geometry, trigonometry etc.), physics, calculus, statistics for middle school, high school and college level students. I also teach AC/DC circuit theory and C/C++ programming since my background is in Electronic/Computer Engineering.

My name is Ginno Pineda, I am a Math/Physics/Calculus/Statistics tutor in Winnipeg, Canada. My background is in Electronic/Computer Engineering. I only started as a student tutor back in college and seemed to have developed a love for teaching any kind of subject that involves math and programming. I found teaching to be very fun and fulfilling. It is the line of work that I enjoy doing and I don't mind getting tired as long as I can ensure that students learn what they need to learn.
Aside from being a tutor, I also enjoy woodworking (making furniture), cooking food (eating too!), playing video games and watching Netflix. I also like making math tutorial videos for my YouTube channel. Make sure to watch them!
If you ever choose me as your tutor, I'm looking forward to start working with you so that I can deliver a fun and rewarding learning experience.
