About Alex
My name is Alex and I always wanted to be an Engineer to help shape and change the world. However, I quickly discovered that engineering did not have my desired effect and quickly transitioned to teaching. More important than building schools, was staffing them! I have not looked back ever since and thoroughly enjoy my job.
In my spare time, I play football and squash and read a hell of a lot of non-fiction books!

My teaching methodology utilises University of Cambridge teacher training and an NPQML to help students not only understand strange concepts but also how to apply them to new situations. I have numerous ways of getting students to see difficult physics concepts and I have years of experience as a Head of Physics to understand exam technique intimately and show students how to revise effectively across their range of subjects.
I have several years experience as both a teacher of physics and as a Head of Physics for several world class schools. My lessons are for anyone between the ages of 8-18 for between 1-2 hours in their own home.
