About Amira
Singing has always been my passion, and with a BM in Jazz Vocal Performance plus 5 years of teaching experience, I now share that passion through personalized lessons. My focus is on musical theater and Broadway, helping students master belt technique, stage presence, and character acting. I work with singers of all levels, from beginners to working professionals, tailoring each lesson to their needs. Building vocal agility is a key part of my teaching, ensuring quick changes feel smooth and confident. Alongside performance training, I bring in ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory. Confidence is something I emphasize in every session, because a confident voice is unstoppable. I use only safe, supportive techniques that build long-term vocal health. Lessons with me are interactive, structured, and encouraging. I want every student to leave feeling inspired and capable. I teach singing by focusing on both the technical and the musical sides of the voice. Ear training plays a big role, as it helps students develop pitch accuracy and confidence. Lessons include harmonizing, interval recognition, and exercises for tuning the ear. These skills help singers match notes effortlessly in solos or ensembles. My approach is practical and student-centered, meeting each learner where they are. I believe in interactive lessons that combine discipline with creativity. The ear must guide the voice, and my method builds that connection step by step. Advanced teens find this especially helpful for performance preparation. Quartet players also value the focus on blending and ensemble precision. I provide ongoing feedback that is constructive and clear. Safe vocal technique is always emphasized.
