About Madeline
My Physics lessons are an exciting blend of core concepts and modern computational skills. I believe in nurturing each student’s curiosity through personalized and hands-on learning. Together, we’ll explore computer modeling, scientific programming, and data visualization to uncover the patterns behind physical systems. From simulating a pendulum to visualizing wave interference, each lesson brings physics to life. My goal is to make you confident with tools like Python or MATLAB while also strengthening your physics foundation. Whether you're curious about nuclear reactions or eager to model your own experiments, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. You’ll gain practical skills that open doors to research and innovation. My approach is friendly, supportive, and geared toward helping you think like a scientist. We'll build both your intuition and your technical toolkit.

I'm a dedicated Physics tutor with over 8 years of experience and an MSc in Medical Physics. My expertise lies at the intersection of physics and materials science, where I guide students through the fascinating world of defects, phase transitions, and microstructural phenomena. I specialize in teaching concepts like crystal defects, grain boundaries, diffusion, and phase diagrams using intuitive, visual examples that connect theory to real-world materials.
Whether we’re exploring dislocations in metals or the eutectoid transformation in steel, I make sure each lesson is grounded in applications relevant to modern engineering and technology. I use annotated diagrams, simulations, and hands-on analogies to demystify complex topics. Students often find my sessions engaging, especially when they realize how atomic-level imperfections shape the properties of everything from smartphones to jet engines.
I’ve worked extensively with university students and researchers who need a deeper understanding of the microscopic mechanisms behind material behavior. My goal is to build not only knowledge but confidence, helping learners think critically and apply their insights creatively.
