• When did you start practicing? How did this passion find you?

  I began practicing art at a young age, nurturing my interest in drawing realistic art. This innate connection to art, combined with my inherently patient nature, allowed me to delve deeply into the intricate details and nuances of the subjects I portrayed. As I grew older, my passion for art evolved from a childhood hobby into a dedicated pursuit of realism in portraiture, emphasising the significance of capturing every subtle expression and facet of the human form. My patient disposition naturally guided me to perfecting this intricate craft over the years, and now I am thrilled to share this journey with aspiring artists of all skill levels and ages through my tutoring.

• Which artists or works affect you the most?

  I find inspiration in the works of artists such as Canaletto, Kelvin Okafor and Patricia Otero.

  Absolutely. There have been instances where students who initially doubted their abilities made astonishing progress. Witnessing them grasp complex concepts quickly and execute intricate techniques with confidence is both surprising and gratifying.
