Hello, My class parts from the idea that ANYONE can learn how to draw with the right approach. These classes are deemed for beginner and intermediate level students and anyone who wishes to work on their observational skills. -In the case of children, they should be 8 y/o or older-. Besides the technical side of the class, I also focus on building the confidence and knowledge through MAKING.
I am easy to get a long with, and most people find me comfortable to be around. A typical class who be either at the Wetaskiwin Public Library or somewhere, were it is suitable for you. My teaching would be able to show the different ways to make learning fun.
My teaching methods starts from art appreciation, where students will learn about various art movements, engage in making art, discern Visual Thinking Strategies (a medium to improve critical thinking through discussions of visual imagery.
Teaching methods and lesson plans include; • Hands on experience • Short lessons on blending, color orchestration, the concept of design • How to work with the tools available • How to layer • Written and oral instructions • Budgeting bigger works Lessons would consist of 1h to 2h. I have worked with multiple acrylic medias and know how to bring ideas to life on a tight budget.
Every class I will work on one watercolor painting, so you could get to know different techniques. I will start to do a part and after finishing that, you will do the same and I will explain possible errors and how to be confident to solve it.
I believe in a "tailored" approach to teaching. I modify my classes around s needs and preferences of each artist, based on their individual creative evolution. What this means practically is that I offer a full spectrum of possibilities for class content.,i.e.
I am an excellent listener and I take assessing students personally. Identifying the student’s current drawbacks and where they need the most improvement is what I focus the most, and to help them excel their capability and performance. I help students understand math and art in an easy way by allowing to visualize and conceptualize key ideas in ways that helped me through my previous courses.
my teaching method will vary on what you need to learn and achieve. You choose the subject and the medium and I provide the guidance for you to achieve your artistic goals. Use your imagination or work from an image you would like to recreate.
The best thing about painting is that there are some rules and regulations, but the magic comes within your hands and imagination. My technique is to encourage students to express their feelings and emotions on paper. I believe everyone can paint you just need to be passionate and patient.
I approach teaching with a mix of theory and practicality. I think it's important to understand why techniques work the way they do; and even more so, how to apply them. I teach from ages 3+. It is never too late or too early to learn how to draw.
As a tutor, I like to get a clear idea of what material the student is covering. I like to help the student understand by starting with big concepts and making sure they can grasp the larger picture before moving on to smaller details. I enjoy teaching with a more active approach.
These Classes are meant for children between Kindergarten to the fifth grade.
My lessons are hands on and I have a flexible teaching style to teach each student differently. I have experience teaching students with Autism and different behavioural needs. I try to connect my lessons to real life experiences to make learning relevant and enjoyable.
The way I teach someone normally starts with a small activity . After I know what level my students are at, I will then come up with my class content. I am a very watercolor based artist, so I would involve techniques and practice on colors as well as forms etc.
My instinct help to guide me to work differently with each student with experience. Having taught in University and Design Collages as well as children. I have developed a method were basic concepts are taught in most easiest way possible.
I like teaching small groups of students. Lots of doing and not so much listening. I will take what you have to learn and make it in to what you want to learn and do. I will give directed teaching with specific examples and then lots of support to see the way though to success.
My classes are intended for the beginner artist looking to improve their drawing abilities. I base my classes on basic drawing skills, techniques and useful tips and advice that has helped me personally to improve my work as an artist.
My teaching method is Modelling. I have a demonstration of task to students to make the process clearer. By imitating the model, students become aware of the procedures needed to perform the task or use the strategy. My classes are involve with lots of fun and enjoyment.
I have studied a Bachelor of Visual Arts and a Post Grade in Art Therapy. My classes are meant for all ages and for individuals with or without disabilities. I teach a varied of subjects such as painting, drawing, sculpure and I enjoy working with recycle materials.
I believe in Teaching for the person, which is why I work on a one on one basis to get to know you, your style and help you learn in the way that will best apply to you.
I like to make my students happy with what their learning and try to help them as best as I can. I want to find out what exactly they want to learn so they get the most out of their experience.
I teach from the very beginning and often ask to show their own creative skills rather than copying. This thing helps in enhancing the creative skills in oneself and helps one to understand things more effectively and easily in a better way.
I base my teaching off of the present ability of my students, novices to experienced the opportunity is always there to advance and add to your skills. From the novice learning about composition, color theory and shading methods, to perspective, mediums, styles and their techniques for the more experienced. We can review your knowledge and skills together to assess where I can help you the best.
Always preferring a one-on-one approach to teaching, I manage my course material by using art activities to get to know the skills and interests of my students.
The course begins with basic drawing techniques where you will learn everything you need to know to start drawing like an expert. Next, you will learn about the fundamentals of drawing and how to apply them to your own artwork. Once you get a grip on the fundamentals, we will take on still life drawing which is an important step to become an experienced artist.
I would base my class according to the needs and level of the student. I would make sure there is understanding of the lecture and improvement in the artwork. If there are questions on the methods, I'd be happy to answer them.
My teaching methodology is rooted in exploration, play, and curiosity. I encourage every individual to follow the things that intrigue them and spark passion. My classes are for all ages and any level of artistic expression. My classes are structured, yet leave much room for exploration.
my teaching methods are always fun based that leads to quick understanding. I have passion to spread the knowledge and talent what I have. my class environment is always study friendly and fun at the same time. I love teaching.
I approach my subject by structuring my lessons around a specific theme (artist, style, medium), and encourage creativity and risk taking within a safe learning environment. My intention is to teach art skills, theory, history, and vocabulary, while exploring various cultures and artistic practices.
