About Seba

Hello everyone مرحبا جميعا Why should you choose me? My name is Seba, I'm a Jordanian Native Arabic tutor with 4 years of experience as a private and online teacher. I speak Arabic and English. Holder of Bachelor's degree in translation. I'm very interested in teaching languages since I like to meet people from all over the world and discover new cultures. In addition to being a native speaker of the language, I'm also a translator and language learner, I translated a book, and as we always say " words travel worlds translators do the driving "Being a translator means being a bridge between the different cultures. Usually, I use mastering Arabic book and different resources like the Jordanian series and TV shows, and I design my classes according to my student's needs after assessing their levels. For those students who are interested we organize group classes to practice the language together. So finally, if you are a zero-level student, a fake beginner, or a student with intermediate or advanced level, or if you want your child to learn or improve his or her Arabic or for any personal or professional purpose, you are in the right place! • Do you speak this language fluently because of your origins or because a teacher inspired you to learn?

I speak this language fluently because of my origins. I’m a native speaker of the language.
  • Can you name a living, historical or fictional character that you think is the emblematic representative of the language's culture?

The historical character is Mustafa Wahbii_ Altal.
  • Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behaviour in the language that you particularly like?

I like the expression” balatish taltiish” we use it when we want to say that we speak the language a little.
  • Why does speaking this language matter to you?

It's very important for me to speak this language because it’s the language of “The Quran “the holy book for all Muslims. It's also a very valuable language.
  • What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?

The main difficulty in learning this language and any language in the whole world is remembering the vocabularies. We can overcome this problem by practicing and trying to use these vocabularies that we are learning as much as we can.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.

I remember when I was at university I used to love learning different languages, especially English so I used to listen to English songs when I was on my way to the university. I also used to go to the cinema only to watch English movies.
  • How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?

I've never traveled before, but because of the nature of my job as an Arabic teacher for non-native speakers, it allowed me to develop my English a lot. Of course, talking to people from all over the world can help with learning languages.
  • What makes you a Superprof in language?

My passion and patience make me a super prof in this language. I like the fact that we as teachers of languages can change our student's lives, I don’t like the traditional ways of teaching the language and of course, when I see my students progress it motivates me to give my best and to discover new ways and methods that make me a better teacher. I’m also a learner of languages so I put myself in my students’ shoes and I teach them the language as I would like to learn it. I also dip my students in the language.
