About Ting

I am a 25-year-old Malaysian-Chinese educator who loves to explore the world. As a Malaysian, I can communicate, write, and read in three languages, which are Mandarin, English, and Malay. However, I can also introduce two different dialects in my studies - Fuchou and Cantonese.

I love to travel and share my experiences with friends and family during my leisure time. Moreover, I enjoy singing, I could also spend some time teaching you how to sing Mandarin songs in our lessons.

After my primary and secondary school studies in Malaysia, I decided to go to Taiwan for Bachelor's degree. Taiwanese is so nice and warm, and there is a lot of sharing I can share with you through lessons!

I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Newcastle, UK. I'm eager to learn more about your culture and hope my students will feel comfortable sharing.

About the lesson

The course will be presented through customized online games, audio-visual materials, and reward mechanisms, designed to emphasize the learning of Chinese that students want to focus on.

The course is approximately 45 to one hour, including a flexible break of 10 minutes.

I have previously taught online lessons in English for middle school students in Taiwan, guiding them in grammar, writing, and reading.

The age range for learning Chinese is not limited, but I have experience teaching preschoolers, elementary school students, and middle school students. The key is an interest in Chinese, and I recommend the course for beginners or intermediates.
