About Jordan
Outside of being at the dance studio, I am an Army brat who has lived all over the U.S as well as South Korea. At the age of four I started Taekwondo and gradually got to a second degree black belt at the age of seven. Everyday I would go straight to the Dojo and work on forms, stretching, sparring, kicking and punching techniques. Every month there would be a tournament to see who would move on to the next belt. Once I got my first degree black belt, I then later moved to South Korea for two years and received my second degree black belt in Taekwondo. When living in South Korea, I got to discover a new environment and new cultures that were very different and significant compared to my culture. At such a young age, I found it very easy for me to respect and understand other people's beliefs that were different from mine. Then later when training for Taekwondo, I noticed that all the black belts could tumble. Once I returned to America, I started tumbling for three months and conquered most of the hardest tumbling techniques you could imagine at the age of nine. I wanted to try something different, and that led me to baseball. I did baseball for four years and made the all star Washington state team every year. But for some reason it didn't feel like something I would want to continue moving forward in life. One day I went to my sister's dance studio and watched all the genres of dance, and was so satisfied in how different and difficult each style was. That then led me to dance. I started competitive dancing at the age of thirteen and fell in love with the art that I wanted to do for a living when I grew up. Out of everything I have ever done, Taekwondo, tumbling, baseball; dancing is by far the hardest activity out of all of the things I have done in my life. It pushes your body beyond its limits, and allows yourself to exceed your own expectations and help you to discover new things about yourself. During the four years of dance, I have learned how to use teamwork, focus, and improvisational skills. It has opened up many different perceptions and views that have helped me learn and think in new ways. Dance has given me the opportunity to make and create numerous decisions that have helped me become the person I am today.

I am dedicated to offering a comprehensive range of dance education services, including private lessons, master classes, and choreography for solos, duos/trios, and groups. My aim is to create a nurturing environment where each student can thrive and become the best version of themselves, both as dancers and as individuals.
My teaching philosophy is centered around holistic development, ensuring that students grow not only as dancers but also as confident, disciplined, and expressive individuals. I emphasize the importance of a growth mindset, where challenges are viewed as opportunities for learning and growth.
I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where students feel free to experiment, take risks, and express themselves fully. This fosters creativity and helps students discover their unique artistic voice.
By encouraging perseverance and celebrating progress, I help students build resilience and a positive attitude towards their dance journey. This approach ensures that they are well-equipped to handle both successes and setbacks.
Beyond instruction, I see my role as a mentor, offering guidance, support, and professional advice to help students navigate their dance careers and personal development
