I like to get to know my students and what sparks there passions. I always ask them what they think their weaknesses are and we go from there. I explain to my students that constructive criticism is a good thing to learn and to never take feedback personally. I think my dancers need to be confident and happy with their performances. I also stress the importance of practicing at home.

We are in a good mood when we feel good in our bodies. This is the feeling I have since my discovery of Vinyasa Yoga, this learning of attention, concentration and mental peace. What quality alloy in order to focus on yourself and accept it as such. As choreographic artist, yoga has given me a different view of physical exercise as well in practice as in his feelings.

My method of classical ballet is a mixture between English (Royal Academy of Dance) and Russian (Vaganova). I bring a mix of all the great masters I've had (and have) in my dance career. The other areas follow a very Brazilian line.
I love teaching the basics - to form a good foundation for the harder steps. I think it's important to take things slow sometimes, unless you're up for the challenge! Most of all, dance is about fun and personal expression. It will always be about making you feel comfortable in your own skin, while getting a good workout at the same time.
My teachings are based on your skill and ability. If I feel like you are holding yourself back I will push you to think better of your ability. Also if you are a beginner in dancing I will go at your pace. I am very patient and kind.

Perfect! Good ballet class with helpful corrections. Marija is very professional and friendly. Ultimately i was looking for very in-depth/advanced explanations of technique and alignment rather than a normal ballet class so i did not continue with her, but...
