About Emma
I hold a Master’s degree in Music and have been teaching guitar for seven years, working with students of all ages and backgrounds. My academic training allows me to design structured lessons while maintaining creativity and adaptability to fit each learner’s unique needs and pace. Over the years, I have watched students progress from strumming their first chords to performing confidently on stage or in front of friends. Whether they aim to pursue music professionally or simply enjoy it as a personal hobby, I take pride in helping them achieve those goals with patience and guidance. Music has always been central to my life, and the guitar, in particular, has been my favorite tool for expression. Teaching allows me to share this passion with others, guiding them toward their own musical voice. My approach blends knowledge, encouragement, and inspiration to help every student grow as both a guitarist and an artist.

My lessons for beginners focus on building a strong foundation in rhythm, chord progressions, and hand positioning. Students learn practical techniques through familiar songs, developing the confidence to play simple pieces while enjoying the process. The goal is to combine discipline with fun, ensuring learning feels natural and engaging.
For intermediate players, lessons introduce scales, fingerpicking, and improvisation exercises. These sessions help students unlock creativity, develop dexterity, and explore their personal style. By incorporating music theory and ear training, I provide a well-rounded approach that strengthens both technical skill and musical understanding. Practice is designed to push growth without being overwhelming.
Advanced learners focus on refining expression, mastering complex solos, and applying advanced theory to performance. I guide students in exploring multiple genres, from rock to jazz to classical, allowing them to adapt across musical settings. These lessons combine technical exercises with artistic exploration, building versatility and individuality as a guitarist.
