Music lessons should be about serving YOUR individual needs as a student, learning how to supercharge your practice to get the most out of your time, and help you develop independence and flexibility so you can reach your artistic goals with guidance.
I want my students to achieve their personal goals, whether it is to learn a simple song to sing to, pass Royal Conservatory of Music Exams, or learn any new techniques to expand and grow as a musician.
My teaching method includes tools that allow you to develop your own style and put it into practice through theorical and practical exercises.
My teaching methods incorporate learning music through the lens of a variety of fields. Music is a language and performance should be approached from the perspective of wanting to learn how to express a thought or an idea. Physics and science help us to understand how the sounds we make exist. Psychology and neurology offer infinite insight into how and why it is we perceive music the way we do.
My approach is individual-inclined and it will help you play songs according to chords only, which means you don't necessarily need to learn to read music, which I know to be very hard and sometimes annoying :)) I start from the basic songs and finger skills required to give you an intuition of the instrument before getting anywhere deep into the process.
J'adore travailler mon doigté de manière ludique avec des exercices le fun. J'ai hérité de ma formation classique, les notions de persévérance et de travail. Pour obtenir un résultat, il faut s'impliquer et la pratique est le secret ultime.
My teaching methods would vary in regards to each student talent but in general: Children: start from "Guitar Method for Young Beginners" by Scott. will learn to play melody and rhythm.
I absolutely love to teach the classical guitar. I have also experienced teaching half classical and half popular and that was a hit, students absolutely loved it! My classes are oriented towards your goals and interests as a student. I will therefore give you all the tools you need in order to achieve it and suggest material that is related to your musical tastes.
Using the RCM guitar books, we will learn how to read sheet music. I strongly focus on proper technique and posture in order to avoid injury. Classes are fun and educational, consisting of us learning pieces through sheet music and taking them up to performance level.
I teach variety of ages and in a way that is in a warm and friendly atmosphere, step by step approach, easy to follow and remember, flexible and productive, goal-oriented. My class will have the a relax and stress-free environment that you'll ever loved. Whether you are a child or adult, be with me and make your musical dreams breathe into reality.
Everybody is different so I like to customize lesson plans according to the needs of the individual student. Lessons have to be enjoyable, so knowing the direction that a student wants to go, I will plan the skills that are required.
My teaching methods are built on a modern approach that utilizes the technologically advanced world we live in. Lesson plans are completely catered to each student, emphasizing the enjoyment of the instrument in hopes to build a passion that can be carried forward for the rest of your life.
I teach all levels of students (beginner, intermediate and advanced) with customized lessons adapted to the goals of each student. I create and share an enjoyable learning environment during my private lessons given into your home in the Montreal area. My method of teaching is simple, fun and progressive.
Many of my inspirations come from early blues/bluegrass, classical and rock musicians, such as Bill Monroe, Muddy Waters, CCR, Ferdinando Carulli, Metallica, Johnny Cash, Pink Floyd ect. I believe everyone and anyone is capable of acquiring the art of music through determination and the willingness learn. All students contain untapped potential, seeing that spark is my greatest passion.
My teaching methods are always focused around student-driven learning, and I strive at all times to maintain a relaxed, welcoming, and encouraging atmosphere in my teaching spaces. My intention is to make students feel that education can and will work for them by ensuring that I remain patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic as an educator.
I customize music lessons for each individual student focusing on good technique, rounded playing abilities and functional theory. With some of the ‘hacks’ (as my students like to call it) I’ve been able to help hundreds of players achieve their goals in much less time than they thought.
my own teaching tech is easy to understand i begin with the knowledge of the instrument and some basic example of what the student can do with the guitar, and through simple questions to the student to know his level of skill in the guitar and help him to get the confidence to undertake, the conscious and harmonic study developing his manual dexterity and encouraging the reading of musical...
I believe firstly in hands-on teaching. All my students have to have an instrument that they bring to a lesson, and we will practice and learn in real time. I don't mind sending students home with some homework, but only after they have sat with me and practiced some of the techniques.
My teaching methods are whatever you feel like learning whether it's scales, chords, or just freeform jamming. We could also discuss music and see where you we go from there sometimes its great to see what you are into rather than what you wanna play.
My classes tend to be roughly half reading music and theory (including scales, key signatures, etc.) and half more hands-on learning of guitar techniques, popular songs, and things that are of interest to that particular student. Students learn to play songs, but also the way songs are constructed--and how to write their own or analyze others'.
My structure is pretty simple, I teach one technique at a time and we learn to implement it in a simple progression, master it and move on to a more advanced one as any teacher would do! I tend to push further and give you things to practice your fingers, I can also teach off my time whenever you need as we keep contact! I will share tabs to practice what can't be thought from a webcam to webcam...
I am patient and encouraging with my students and teaching is my passion. I believe you can only build on a solid foundation. So the goal is giving the students a foundation that they can build upon on their own.
I found out where my students' interests are and work from there. I can get involved teaching most kinds of music to keep the students motivated. Once I find out the type of music they enjoy it is more fun for them.
. my method is Fridolin and Enjoy of Guitar. the Classes during is 1 hour . I am so friendly .
I teach solely based on the student and what they excel in and strive to find a balance, ease and joyful approach to learning.
My teaching method cover a wide variety of thechniques depending on the genre and instruments palayed. With young students, methods like Kodaly, Orff and Dalcroze are mixed to obtain the best result.
I guide my students to learn to play chords, read notes and to effectively learn faster on the guitar. I believe every guitar student should have a good foundation in healthy technique that will only enable them to enjoy the instrument better and play in whichever style they choose to focus on.
