About VIJAY

I am a professional chess player, Playing chess for 12 years, I have been awarded several State and National medals, I have also won INTER NIT tournament (2021), all state school competition(2016), Got silver medal in CPA tournament 2023 Jaipur Also holding a coaching experience of 3 years in the National Institute of technology with children and adults. I believe "Chess, like love, like art, like music, has the power to make men happy." Are you looking to take your chess skills to the next level? Look no further! Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
As a chess tutor, I teach the strategic board game of chess, which nurtures critical thinking and decision-making skills. My interest in chess began at a young age, captivated by its elegant simplicity and infinite possibilities. Witnessing the game's positive impact on my cognitive abilities inspired me to become a tutor, sharing the joy of chess and helping students grow both on and off the board.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
My motivation to teach chess stems from my passion for the game and the joy it brings me. Sharing this enthusiasm with others and witnessing the positive impact on their cognitive abilities inspire me to be a chess tutor.
How does your work help society?
My work as a chess tutor helps society by fostering critical thinking and analytical skills. It enhances decision-making abilities and problem-solving techniques, leading to more capable and intellectually engaged individuals. These skills have a positive impact on both the personal and professional aspects of my students' lives.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
Viswanathan Anand, the World Chess Champion, is my role model. His dedication to chess, strategic brilliance, and ability to inspire others align with my approach to teaching and fostering a love for chess in my students.

Outside teaching, I like reading self-help books very much and apart from that I also like to play cricket.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
I want to share one of my experiences which use to tell everyone whenever someone asks me. So it is about one of my past students Aayan who was very talented and but as he belonged to a small village he was not able to get guidance related to chess. As he was very talented and interested in chess one of my colleagues told me about then I started giving class for him 2-3 hours a day now he is a national chess player and I am very happy for him that he made me and his family proud.
