I use a scaffolding method based on the previous observation of the skills level. The first lesson is always an introduction to each other that allow me at the same time to see where we are starting from, what the students already know and what they need, what are their interests and aim with the lesson.
I am an Art Educator in training. The good saying would actually be, an artist/teacher in training. I learn, create, and teach all at the same time, those three being interconnected in my practice as a learner as much as an artist.
Jhenale and I met at Concordia university where we shared a class together. She has always shared her knowledge and passion for teaching. I know that she will be a great teacher because of her ability to connect with the people around her. She is motivated and willing to learn from everyone around her.
