I base my classes on the principles of Hatha and Vinyasa classes, adapting my teaching to the students in front of me; from begginer to yoga expert, there's always a way to find a method that will make sense to them personnaly. I promote creativity, to find what feels good and to allow a space of peace and self-love. It's all about enjoying the journey, not just the destination.
My teaching technique is pretty simple, which is illustrating my words with common things that are available in our environment. However, this might be slightly different among students. So, my first job is to detect how best my student assimilates things.
I prefer to teach one-on-one, with direct contact with the student. A typical session would last roughly an hour, with a 10 minute break where the student can ask questions or reflect on the material. I would also prefer to tutor those currently in high school and elementary school (specifically the 5th and 6th grade level).
I use the authority, demonstrator and facilitator method. The demonstrator retains the formal authority role by showing students what they need to know. The facilitator promotes self-learning and help students develop critical thinking skills and retain knowledge that leads to self-actualization.
I believe that the best way of helping someone is establishing a trustworthy and ethical relationship. Hence, I use a friendlier or more humane approach with my clients. I believe that truly knowing your clients and allowing them to open up at their own pace is a key ingredient to achieving goals or overcoming struggles.
My teaching methods are more demonstrative as the lessons will include multimedia presentations, activities, and demonstrations as I will help you learn to speak French with "Real-World" Situations, books, small videos, etc. You will also have to take notes on the things that you will learn during our classes.
Chemistry is an abstract science, unlike biology, where you can see the cell, in chemistry you can not see atoms or molecule so patience and imagination are important. I try to improve these virtues and also do a lot of exercises since practice make the master.

So I start by defining the student objectives and knowledge in order to plan the topics that are needed to be tauhgt. When it comes to specific topic classes (not long term) I analyze the fundamentals that support that topic and develop it step by step.
My methods include making new exercises for the students, helping them understand their own and why they made a mistake. I also want to help them organize their notes better and encourage them when they succeed at solving something they couldn't before.
