About Florian
Salut!
I'm Florian, a 21 years-old MSc student in public policy at the London School of Economics.
I was born in Bordeaux, in the south-west of France, from a German mum and so grew up with two languages, which gave me an aptitude for languages. I went on to do a bachelor's degree in International Relations at the University of Geneva and also studied at Monash University (Melbourne, Australia), the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Chinese Language School in Kunming (China). That's why I can now speak French, English, German, Italian and Mandarin Chinese.

I'm very happy to be able to share my love of languages and teach French by a fun and easy way, while explaining more about the culture, History and traditions of French-speaking territories (France of course, but also the differences with French-speaking Switzerland for example).
Having had a lot of experience of private tuition, I can adapt to each student and their level. I would be happy to introduce a child to learning French, help a secondary school pupil to get to grips with the French language or prepare a professional coming to work in a French-speaking country to learn professional French.
My method is based mainly on practising the language, discussing things that interest the student, as this is also how you learn your mother tongue. The grammatical rules support the practice, which remains at the centre.
