About Imanise

With over 12 years of experience, I’m a dedicated guitar tutor with a degree in Music Performance and a passion for helping students grow into confident, expressive musicians. I specialize in guiding learners from early intermediate to advanced intermediate and professional levels. My teaching goes beyond technique—I focus on helping each student find their unique musical voice. I believe in developing well-rounded musicianship through a strong mix of chord theory, technical skills, improvisation, and ear training. Musical expression and critical listening are at the heart of every lesson I teach. Whether we’re working on jazz voicings, fingerstyle patterns, or melodic phrasing, I always tailor lessons to suit your style and goals. Creativity plays a major role in my sessions. I encourage students to explore, experiment, and grow with every note they play. You’ll also learn how to listen deeply, play with emotion, and build your confidence as a performer. About the lesson

My teaching approach to guitar is flexible, hands-on, and designed to match each student's unique goals. I teach all levels—from absolute beginners to advanced players—covering acoustic, electric, bass, classical, and jazz guitar. Lessons are structured but creative, allowing room for exploration and self-expression. I include music theory, ear training, and rhythm practice in every session to build a strong foundation. We use tools like metronome apps, amp simulators, and DAWs to improve timing, tone, and technique. I also guide students through performance coaching to build stage confidence and musical presence. For students who love to experiment with sound or express bold musical ideas, I help channel that energy into structured growth. For those exploring complex genres or improvisation, I provide clear pathways to mastering technique and theory. My lessons balance skill-building with the joy of playing. Every student learns differently, so I personalize instruction to match learning pace, style, and musical interest.
