About Sotheara

Hi, my name is Sotheara Eng and I am currently attending McMaster University for Computer Engineering. I've only gotten this far because of the work I have put in and the strategies I've used to study and learn. I once struggled in school as well, and have seen many of my friends do the same, which is why I want to spread the methods I've used to those who were in the same position as I was, and hopefully give them a useful skill they can use in the future. I believe that anyone can achieve above-average grades with the right pointers and direction which is something that I've provided and plan to continue providing. So if you are planning to pursue a career in engineering, feel free to reach out and I will do my very best to help you achieve those goals.

About the lesson

I am a tutor who prioritizes the fundamental knowledge of math and physics and will do my best to create a natural intuition and curiosity of the subject within my students. My lessons will teach students the basics of each topic and focus on creating a "mindset" or a method to solve the various types of problems my students may see. All in all, my lesson methodology aims to improve students' problem solving skills; which proves very integral to classes such as grade 11 physics, calculus and their proceeding subjects.

Seth is an incredible math teacher as he makes learning easy and fun. Throughout highschool, he helped me through advanced functions and calculus which I’m very grateful for. Without him I doubt I would have understood all these concepts and passed my classes with high grades. He knows math inside out and explains everything in a way that anyone can understand. His classes are never and he’s very patient and kind, always ready to help us when we're stuck. He inspires us to do our best and makes math exciting.
