About Jade

By the end, students can conduct experiments effectively, interpret data independently, and approach scientific challenges with clarity. My goal is to help learners excel in science while enjoying the process of discovery.

About the lesson

I am a Physics tutor with over 8 years of experience and a BSc in Biophysics. My passion lies in helping students explore the fascinating world of applied optics. I specialize in fiber optics and microscopy, guiding learners through both fundamental concepts and practical applications. We delve into light propagation, exploring how waves travel through different media. Total internal reflection becomes more than theory when we study its role in optical fibers for telecommunications. Lens design and image formation are brought to life with hands-on examples. We examine how microscopes reveal intricate biological structures and how fiber optics enable fast, reliable data transfer. I enjoy connecting abstract physics principles to real-world technologies. My students include aspiring engineers and future medical device developers. I emphasize problem-solving, experimentation, and critical thinking in every lesson. Together, we explore how manipulating light can innovate communication and imaging technologies. Lessons are interactive, clear, and tailored to each student’s curiosity and goals.
