About Keith
"Teaching guitar for 6 years has been a journey filled with joy, learning, and inspiration. Working with students from elementary school to college has shown that music connects people of all ages and backgrounds. Every student brings something new, and every lesson is a new chance to grow together. The goal in every session is to make learning clear, fun, and meaningful. The lessons are always built around what works best for the student—whether they learn by listening, watching, or doing. Step by step, students gain confidence in their playing and in themselves. Some of the most exciting moments have come from seeing students succeed in public performances, pass music exams, or simply play their favorite songs for family and friends. Each of these victories—big or small—matters deeply. Lessons are filled with real examples from everyday music, using songs that students know and love. Teaching also includes rhythm practice, simple music theory, and creativity through songwriting or improvisation. Music is not just about playing notes—it’s about expressing who you are. The goal has always been to help each student feel proud of their progress and inspired to keep going."

"My guitar lessons focus on building your skills with purpose. From the start, we apply everything you learn to real-world music. We’ll practice chord changes using real pop, rock, folk, or indie songs that you already enjoy. Instead of learning music in a vacuum, you’ll understand how chords and rhythms fit into real songs.
I start by getting to know how you learn best. Some students need step-by-step instructions, others want to experiment. I use different teaching styles—demonstration, repetition, visual aids, and stories—to connect with each student.
Every lesson includes communication and feedback. I ask how things feel, what songs interest you, and what you’d like to try next. We’re partners in your growth.
I bring in real-life case studies, like how guitarists build their setlists or how they arrange acoustic vs. electric parts. We’ll talk about real performance situations and how to get ready to play live or jam with friends.
Along with guitar technique, I include song structure, harmony basics, soloing, dynamics, and stage presence. You’ll leave lessons with the ability to play confidently and the knowledge to keep growing on your own."
