About Megan
Hi! I’m a second-year Physics student at Newcastle University, offering tutoring in Maths, Physics, and Further Maths up to GCSE level. I have an academic background in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Physics at A Level, and I now use this knowledge daily in my degree to solve problems and explain complex concepts clearly. My lessons are tailored to each student, whether you're aiming for top grades or just want to feel more confident in class. Outside of university, I’ve worked with children aged 6-16 in various educational settings, including programming and robotics activities at summer camps. This experience has helped me develop a patient, adaptable teaching style that supports students in building confidence and understanding at their own pace.

My approach: I focus on building real understanding rather than just memorising methods. I break down tricky topics into manageable steps, and use lots of examples and practice questions to help things stick. I’m friendly, patient, and happy to go over things as many times as needed! Lesson details: Lessons are 30-60 minutes long and can be online or in person (depending on location). I’m flexible with timing and happy to offer longer sessions around exam season if needed. Who I teach: GCSE students of all abilities. Whether you’re in Year 9 starting early or in Year 11 gearing up for exams, I can help boost your understanding and confidence.
