About Dylan
I am one of those people that others call "weird". Yes, I do math and physics for fun in my free time. I am a high school student currently in my senior year and attending School for Advanced Studies (SAS) in Miami, Florida.
In my free time outside of math (when I can't do math) I practice piano or coding. I am a Computer Science major currently doing dual enrollment, with a focus in Machine Learning, but math is my love language!

- I use concepts the student is familiar with to be able to explain terms or concepts that are not first understood, like music, videogames, previous math concepts, sports, or any subject the student is well acquainted with. Of course, if the student understands math, then math is going to be used to explain.
- A typical lesson plan consists of a quick rundown of previous concepts or necessary concepts for the current session, followed by a basic introduction of the topic in a way students can understand, followed by a mathematical explanation with examples, and then an example to be done by the student and supervised by me, in which I will point out or guide (if requested) how the student should attempt the problem. Afterwards, corrections are made, and the floor is open for questions.
- I can teach either sharing my screen with a digital tablet, or set up a camera and hand-work the problems in a board with a marker so that the student feels more engaged or connected to the tutoring.
- These lessons are for anyone from in middle school math/physics class to college level classes. I can proficiently teach Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB (Calculus I), Calculus BC (Calculus II), Calculus III, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Physics 1 (Newtonian Mechanics), and some Classical Mechanics.
- If you are in a non-mathematic career, like Economics or Business, you can still benefit from these classes, as there is extensive math and Calculus in careers like the ones mentioned.
