About Asha
I bring more than 5 years of teaching experience and a degree in Music Production (Vocal Engineering) to my lessons. My specialty is working with singer-songwriters who want to create original music. Lessons focus on lyric writing, melody building, and vocal phrasing. I also teach piano and guitar basics for students who wish to self-accompany. My lessons are open to students of all levels—school, college, and professional. Alongside creative songwriting, I emphasize ear training, harmony, improvisation, and theory. These areas give students confidence and flexibility. Safe vocal technique is always a priority to protect and develop the voice. I believe every student deserves personalized guidance. My lessons are interactive, practical, and encouraging. Confidence grows as students find their authentic sound. I strive to nurture individuality and artistry in each learner. Singing is about more than just sound—it’s about communication and confidence. My teaching method reflects that belief. We begin with vocal technique to ensure a healthy, strong foundation. From there, lessons move into performance skills. Audition preparation is a core part of my approach. Students learn to pick repertoire that fits their strengths and the event. Stage presence is practiced through awareness, energy, and storytelling. For performance anxiety, I share tools that ease nerves and build calm focus. Lessons are customized for each student. Adult beginners are given patient, step-by-step guidance. Advanced teens are challenged to polish their artistry and shine under pressure. I create a supportive space where risks are encouraged. Growth is steady and results are rewarding. My mission is to help every singer feel ready for the spotlight. Together, we’ll get you performance-ready and confident.
