About Lily

I am a passionate vocal coach with 9 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance. My journey with singing began in childhood choirs and evolved through formal training, stage performance, and years of dedicated teaching. I’ve always been drawn to the power of the human voice—not just as an instrument, but as a tool for expression, connection, and confidence. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with singers of all ages and backgrounds, from shy beginners to aspiring performers. I focus on creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel safe exploring their voices. Every voice is unique, and I tailor my approach to help each student build a healthy technique while developing their own personal sound. My teaching specialties include breath control, pitch accuracy, and tone development. I also incorporate stage presence, emotional expression, and vocal styling into lessons depending on each singer’s goals. Whether you want to perform, audition, or simply enjoy singing more freely, I guide students with both structure and inspiration. What I love most about teaching is watching confidence grow—seeing students surprise themselves with what their voices can do. I believe everyone has a voice worth hearing, and I’m here to help you use yours with skill, joy, and purpose.

About the lesson

Singing lessons are crafted to support vocalists at every stage, from absolute beginners to those with performance experience. For new singers, lessons begin with the foundations of healthy vocal technique—breathing exercises, posture, pitch matching, and basic vocal warm-ups. Early sessions help students understand their natural voice and begin developing control and confidence.

As progress continues, we focus on areas such as tone quality, vocal range expansion, pitch precision, and dynamic control. Lessons also include work on diction, expression, and performance readiness, tailored to the student’s musical style—whether that’s pop, classical, musical theatre, or contemporary. Ear training and basic music theory are introduced naturally through the repertoire we explore.

Every session is interactive and student-led in focus, with songs selected that inspire both interest and growth. Students are encouraged to bring in music they enjoy, allowing lessons to feel both relevant and motivating. Technique is developed alongside emotional connection to the material, helping singers grow artistically and technically.

Whether you're preparing for an audition, strengthening your voice for school or community performances, or simply singing for your own joy, these lessons aim to bring out the best in your voice.
