About Livia
With over 11 years of dedicated teaching experience, I bring both passion and professionalism to every lesson. Holding a degree in Music and Performance, I combine strong academic knowledge with practical, real-world expertise. My approach is built on guiding students to find their own voice through musical expression, critical listening, and creative exploration. I believe every guitarist should grow as a well-rounded musician. That’s why I emphasize chord theory, proper technique, improvisation, and ear training in my lessons. These foundations not only build technical ability but also unlock a deeper understanding of music. Over the years, I have successfully taught students ranging from Early Intermediate to Advanced Intermediate, and even those pursuing Professional or Expert levels. Each lesson is tailored to meet individual goals, ensuring steady progress and a rewarding learning experience. I encourage my students to approach the guitar not just as an instrument, but as a medium for artistry and self-discovery. Together, we focus on building confidence, discipline, and creativity. My teaching approach is centered on making guitar learning both structured and enjoyable. I guide students step by step, whether they are just starting or already experienced players. Alongside technique, I focus on using music as a tool for stress relief and emotional expression. Playing guitar can become a personal outlet, and I encourage students to channel their feelings into sound.
I place strong attention on building confidence through practice and performance. Small achievements are celebrated, as they motivate students to progress further. Creativity is always encouraged, whether through improvisation, composing, or exploring new styles.
I adapt my lessons to each learner’s interests and goals. For students who enjoy the discipline of classical playing, I help refine precision and clarity. For those drawn to jazz, I nurture their curiosity for improvisation and rhythm. I also explore acoustic, bass, and electric guitar, so students can experiment widely.
