About Will

*AVAILABLE FOR ONLINE AND RESIDENTIAL TUITION ONLY* I have been tutoring professionally since 2011, and recently returned from two years full-time residential tutoring in Saudi Arabia. In this position I worked daily with three boys in years 6, 8 and 10, preparing them successfully for internal and external examinations, including International GCSEs. With more than ten years tutoring experience with clients of all ages and abilities, I have developed a strong ability to tailor my teaching to the needs and aims of all my students. I aim to make it my mission to put the interest back into learning. I want to help my students see for themselves the amazing possibilities that they are opening up for themselves by choosing to actively engage in their studies. When a student is engaged in a topic, their capacity to learn and retain information is infinitely greater and - what's more - they enjoy the process! I have been working in education since I graduated in 2011, both in the UK and abroad. I have experience in teaching a very wide range of students, from primary school pupils to those sitting 11+ and 13+ entrance examinations for public and private schools, as well as GCSE and A-level exams. I have also taught at university and offered private tuition for adult professionals. Every student is different. They are at different levels, they have different aims and they often require very different approaches. One student may be confident in a given subject, but lack the technique to demonstrate their knowledge. Another may be very interested in a subject but lose confidence in the classroom and begin to fall behind. Whatever the specific situation, I strongly believe that everyone can benefit from focused and friendly support. And that's what I'm here for. About the lesson

Multidisciplinary tutor who specialises in uncovering blocks in a student's learning process that are limiting their natural potential. Taking a holistic approach to learning and combining this with a range of skill sets, techniques and study methods with the aim of creating a shift in how the student approaches their education. I aim to empower the student and instil them with a sense of curiosity and self-confidence that I believe is essential for swift and satisfying progress within their studies.

Perfect! Outstanding tutor
Will was our son's tutor from December 2013 till August 2015.
We come from a foreign background, settled recently in London, for my husband and I English is not our native language. Our son couldn't speak a word of English 3 years ago. Thanks to regular tutoring with Will, on a weekly basis, our son was able to be offered a place in one of the most prestigious college in England. Will has done amazingly well with our son. He was always on time, always in a cheerful mood, and always efficient. He could do well with our son whenever our son felt, even when he was bored, tired, overwhelmed with the challenge. They have achieved a great deal together, and we are more than thankful to Will who was so brilliant.

Will prepared the lesson plans and worked with the four skills required to learn a foreign language: reading, writing, listening and speaking.
Our students were very happy with him and more motivated to learn English. The lessons he prepared were enjoyable and he managed to animate the class, whilst still keeping discipline. He constructed lesson plans and implemented them in an effective and constructive manner.
