About Lana
I am there as a spaceholder and guide on your yoga and movement journey.
I like to create a safe space without judgment, comparison, competition or performance. When we travel through this space, simply by showing up and having the intention and attention to practice, we grow. We let go of what we no longer need. We come closer to our true selves.
In my lessons I like to integrate elements of body work, a great personal interest.
I am passionate about yoga, on and off the mat. I have been practicing intensively for 10 years and teaching for 4 years. Off the mat I do my best to follow the eightfold yoga path. I live in a permaculture community in Spain.

-> 200 hours yin yoga and anatomy teacher training with José de Groot, student of Paul Grilley - the founder of yin yoga (Utrecht, The Netherlands)
-> 50 hours of restorative yoga teacher training at School of Moving Stillness (Thailand)

My goal is to guide you in a way that makes me redundant as a teacher. Through my specific approach you get to know your body better, you learn what you should and should not feel in each yoga shape and you gradually learn to practice yoga autonomously.

∞ YIN ∞
A gentle form of yoga that teaches you to turn inward, relax deeply and connect with your body. It helps you (re)find inner harmony by being present with all that is - on and off the mat.
Almost all yin yoga poses are done sitting or lying down. This allows us to relax the muscles so that the stretch can reach the fascia. We look for a balance between stretch and relaxation. The fascia holds all kinds of tension - physical, emotional and mental. I guide you in a safe space with my full attention and intention so that what is ready to be transformed can be released.
∞ RESTORATIVE ∞
Sink into a state of deep rest with restorative yoga and discover the quiet healing power of the practice.
You are invited to shift your focus from doing to being, supporting and encouraging your body to recover and heal physically, emotionally and mentally.
This practice is accessible to everyone, regardless of your yoga experience, flexibility or physical condition. You will be supported by props in every form to ensure maximum comfort.
∞ DANCE MANDALA ∞
Intuitive movement meditation. Discover how to find center and stillness in and through movement as you are guided through the session. You are invited to explore self-expression and self-inquiry through intuitive movement. By letting go of what we think movement should look like, we begin a process of self-exploration, transformation and consciousness expansion.

∞ Functional teaching ∞
-> I teach based on your needs and wishes, anatomy, tension, possible injuries. This means that I offer variations for each yoga shape, whilst checking in what you feel during the different shapes, etc.
∞ We build body awareness together ∞
-> I guide you to shift your focus from your mind to your body. From doing to being. This way you learn to connect more and deeper with your body, which will bring you more peace in the long term and can boost your self-love and self-confidence.
∞ Practical ∞
-> A class lasts 1.5 hours
-> I teach in Dutch, English or Spanish
-> Accessible regardless of your yoga experience, flexibility or physical condition

Lana is a wonderful, patient yoga teacher that meets you at whatever level you’re at. She explains everything thoroughly and is very attentive towards everyone during sessions, providing variations to poses specifically for you and your body. She is also just a very overall kind, caring, calming, lovely human being :)
Lana is an excellent yoga teacher, she has a welcoming and calming presence and is ready with suggestions to adapt the poses for you. I really enjoyed Lana’s class. She is so intuitive with her guidance and my body felt so so good after the session. The class was around an hour long and we were holding the poses for several minutes which provided a deep stretch for the body and a slowing down and calming effect in my speeding mind. After the class I was so relaxed and my body felt so soft. I can’t recommend Lana’s class enough!! So happy and grateful! I will definitely come back for more ️ thanks Lana for your dedication
Lana was the first person who thought me yin yoga and I was amazed by it. I don’t do yoga by myself and I had no previous experience of yin yoga so I had no expectations of what will happen when she first asked me to participate. Not only did she chant mantras and give clear verbal guidance during the lecture, she also guided me back to my body, so I was able to reach a state of deep relaxation. I was lucky to have her as a teacher in person as well as online. She gave me an insight of what yoga can be even though I wasn’t very enthusiastic about it at first. I can highly recommend learning from her no matter what experience you already have. I am truly grateful to have met Lana and to have learned from all her interesting, inspiring insights she shared with me.
